U.S. Air Force Memorial Temporary Closure
Beginning on or about Nov. 2, 2026, the U.S. Air Force Memorial and surrounding area will temporarily close to all visitors to support ongoing utilities and construction work associated with Arlington National Cemetery’s Southern Expansion project. The temporary closure is expected to end in mid-December 2026, when visitors, vehicles and buses can resume access to the Memorial.
As work progresses, additional updates on visitor access will be shared on our website at www.arlingtoncemetery.mil. Be sure to follow us on social media @ArlingtonNatl.
