WorkwithUSAID.gov Is Now Available in Portuguese! We are excited to announce that WorkwithUSAID.gov is now available in Portuguese. When navigating the website, simply select your preferred language from the dropdown menu in the top right corner. Making the Work with USAID platform available in local languages has been an objective of the Agency since the site was launched. While not all parts of the site are translated in this early phase, we are eager to expand and improve the translated resources available on the site. By expanding language accessibility, we aim to provide a better customer experience for our new, local, and nontraditional partners around the world by offering key resources and partner-focused tips in more languages.
New Videos Provide Guidance on SAM Registration Before partnering with USAID, one of the first steps that potential partners need to take is to register their organization in the U.S. government’s System for Award Management (SAM) and obtain a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). We’ve made this easier by developing videos that walk you through each step of the SAM process, with detailed screenshots and descriptions so you can follow along! Because the process differs depending on whether your organization is based in the United States or not, please make sure you view the correct video for your organization type. Check out our YouTube channel for more videos in a variety of languages.
Participate in the Rulemaking Process! To help improve regulations, USAID encourages its partners and the public to participate in the rulemaking process. The most important contribution is to review rules published in the Federal Register and submit comments during their comment period. The public can also stay informed about future regulatory actions by reading the Unified Agenda, setting customized notifications in the Federal Register, and reviewing the upcoming FAR changes open for public comment!
