Invest in the Future: Defeat Malaria Tomorrow, April 25, 2013, is World Malaria Day. Each year, World Malaria Day commemorates the global fight toward zero malaria deaths and mobilizes action to combat the disease. On this occasion, the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI), led by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented together with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), releases its Seventh Annual Report to Congress, which describes the U.S. Government’s contributions to the global fight against malaria.
