Roughly one-quarter of the world’s population
is made up of young people. Investing in adolescents results in stronger, more
resilient communities and is critical to achieving positive demographic,
economic and health outcomes around the globe. However, young people often face
barriers in accessing accurate, reliable health information.
To address these challenges, USAID seeks unique solutions to provide health
information and support for healthy behaviors in a way that is accessible to
adolescents. The Agency is particularly interested in solutions that directly reach
adolescents in multiple country settings and/or adolescents’ support networks
(such as families and communities) as appropriate.
