The Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) would like to invite your University to virtually attend the “AFOSR Engage: HBCU/MI and Special Programs Webinar” on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 8:00 AM EST - 12:30 PM EST. This will be a half-day webinar that will provide you with a closer look at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Research Enterprise. This event is an opportunity for researchers from Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Institutions (HBCU/MI) to learn about funding, partnership, and career opportunities available through AFRL and AFOSR. Participation in this webinar will help foster a discussion on best practices and help better position HBCU’s to receive funding from AFOSR. Please share the event information with all interested faculty and staff at your University. Those involved in and conducting externally funded scientific research are especially encouraged to attend.
- Subject matter experts will be available LIVE to answer your questions and guide you to resources.
- Subject matter experts and AFOSR Program Officers will be on-hand for networking for up to two hours upon the conclusion of presentations and Q&A.
- Attendees will leave with a better understanding of how AFRL invests in the advancement of science and what program opportunities are available for HBCU/MI researchers.
- Get tips and resources from subject matter experts on applying for funding and building lasting relationships in the research ecosystem!
