Today, we spotlight the newly published DAFPAM 32-1000 Civil Engineer Enterprise Governance. The publication codifies governance associated with the Organizing, Training and Equipping (OT&E) of Civil Engineer Forces, associated with authorities in HAFMD 1-38, Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection, to include the Civil Engineer Board. The document also discusses how HAFMD 1-38 governance intersects with other governance structures, such as governance for HAFMD 1-18, Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Energy, Installations and Environment) authorities. The publication includes an appendix that identifies key Civil Engineer program areas and directs the reader to which governance forum would be the entry point if an issue with Civil Engineer policy, strategy or guidance needs to be raised through Civil Engineer governance forums. This publication will be a living document that is updated as Civil Engineer governance evolves and changes. To check out the DAFPAM, copy and paste the URL below into browser.
