Final Notice: Pesticide Report for Pesticide-Producing and Device-Producing Establishments Reporting Year 2022

This reminder is being sent to ALL contacts associated with a pesticide establishment. If you have already submitted your 2022 Annual Production Report(s) (EPA Form 3540-16) you may disregard this email

ONLY 6 MORE DAYS TO REPORT! Pesticide-Producing and Device-Producing establishment must report production for the 2022 reporting year on or before March 1, 2023. Reports submitted electronically must be submitted before midnight eastern standard time. In order to maintain an active EPA Registered Pesticide Establishment, you are required to report even if you did not produce pesticides or devices during the calendar year 2022.

Please note that the majority of EPA staff still are working remotely and may not be on site to receive mailed reports. We encourage all reporters to submit electronically to ensure proper submission and a timely review of your report.

To ensure on-time delivery of your reports on or before March 1, 2023 we encourage everyone to sign up for the e-reporting option with SSTS: https://www.epa.gov/compliance/electronic-reporting-pesticide-establishments.

With the electronic reporting system (SSTS) you are able to check the status of your annual production report by logging into SSTS and clicking “Submission History” for “Form 3540-16” and as long as the Status reads “Accepted by EPA” or “Awaiting EPA Review” you have submitted properly and do NOT need to do anything else. If any more information is needed, EPA will contact you directly.
