Payment Management System (PMS) - Updated Payment Processing Steps
The Office of Child Care (OCC) is sharing information from the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) regarding the implementation of a new process that has been created to enhance transparency and accountability for federal funding in accordance with Executive Order 14222 - Implementing the President's "Department of Government Efficiency" Cost Efficiency. As part of this implementation, there is a new mandatory field in the Payment Management System (PMS) asking for a description of how requested funds were used to support the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program.
The attached letter provides additional details on:
- How to facilitate expedient processing of drawdown requests
- How you will be contacted if OCC needs additional information about your request
When submitting the request for funds, please provide a strong justification that aligns with CCDF program objectives and include a description or summary of approved expenses or activities and, as applicable, CCDF expenditure categories (i.e., direct services, quality activities, infant/toddler quality activities, administrative costs).
