The Prevention Services Clearinghouse has updated 3 Fact Sheets and the Reporting Guide for Study Authors to align with the Handbook of Standards and Procedures, Version 2.0. These easy-to-use resources provide answers to common questions about the review process timeline, study eligibility, study design and execution ratings, and recommended practices for research reporting.
- This Fact Sheet aims to (1) describe factors that influence the Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse review process timeline and (2) identify steps that study authors and program or service developers can take to help ensure a timely review process.
- This Fact Sheet describes how the Clearinghouse determines whether a study of a particular program or service is eligible for review and identifies common reasons that studies are not eligible for review.
- This Fact Sheet aims to address frequently asked questions about how the Clearinghouse rates the design and execution of studies it reviews, describe common reasons why studies may receive low ratings on the design and execution standards, and lay out possible approaches to design and execute studies in alignment with the standards.
