Since October 1, 2010, title IV-E agencies have the option to provide extended foster care up to age 21. The state of California was an early adopter of this option and also funded the collection of data, research, and an evaluation to understand the implementation and outcomes. Join us on October 19th to learn about how the state of California has designed and implemented an extended foster care program that improves the lives of young people in transition from foster care.
