RESOURCE COLLECTION
Celebrate Child Welfare Workforce Development Month!
Child Welfare Workforce Development Month is an opportunity for professionals to take a moment to celebrate their achievements and connect with colleagues and for child welfare leaders to renew their commitment to support and recognize their workforce.
To successfully deliver high-quality services to children and families, child welfare professionals need to feel that their safety and well-being are supported. Child welfare agencies should seek ways to reduce turnover by addressing staff stressors, improving job satisfaction, and undertaking other retention efforts.
In the spirit of this month-long celebration, we’ve curated the following resource collection covering topics such as workload management, leadership, racial equity, and well-being. Take a moment this month to share these resources with colleagues and others interested in child welfare.
