The COVID-19 pandemic has required the Social Security Administration (SSA) to limit in-person services to protect its customers and employees. Children with disabilities and their families are still eligible to receive financial support, but they may be struggling to access these benefits.
We need your help to get the word out to vulnerable children and families on how they can access supportive resources and financial benefits.
The SSA toolkit provides outreach materials to share with your clients, colleagues, and community. This includes:
- An email message to share with your clients
- Articles you can post on your blog
- Social media posts
- Images for use in social media
Currently, the best way to contact the SSA office near you is by using the local office phone number. Please use the SSA office locator tool to connect vulnerable populations in your community to a local SSA office phone number.
Visit the SSA website to find an up-to-date list of resources and materials to learn more about the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program, and read more about Supplemental Security Income eligibility for children.
