 Ready for Parenthood
We're working with other local councils and health services in York and North Yorkshire to launch a new campaign called Ready for Parenthood which aims to give every family - and every child - the best start in life.
The campaign can help you feel supported from planning a baby through pregnancy and life with a newborn.
It focuses on three simple things:
- What you eat and drink
- How you move
- How you feel
You can access and share videos with friendly, non‑judgemental advice from local midwives and health professionals, with one simple message: no one has to be perfect, and it’s okay to ask for help.
You can access free support locally via York Health Trainers or call 01904 55 33 77.
