Welcome to your latest Families update
This week we're highlighting the efforts of schools in York to become 'ADHD-friendly', suggesting different family activities for the Easter holidays, sharing information on childcare support and much more.
 Schools accredited as ‘ADHD-friendly’
Eight York schools have been accredited as ‘ADHD friendly’ as part of a citywide commitment to support neurodiverse children and young people, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Funded by the Council, as part of its wider Neurodiversity support Programme, the schools chosen have committed to providing safe, nurturing, welcoming and exciting places to learn and grow.
