Welcome to your latest Families update
This week's newsletter includes information on childcare support and the choices available to families, special needs access to community activities, our ongoing consultations and more.
Find out more about your childcare choices
Need a hand juggling work, family and childcare?
Every family is different but Childcare Choices can help you find the support that fits your family.
There is a wide range of offers that parents may be eligible for, including 15 and 30 hours childcare support for working parents, Tax-Free Childcare and Universal Credit Childcare. Parents of 2 year olds receiving additional support, like Universal Credit, can also get 15 hours early learning.
To use 15 or 30 hours childcare from 1 April, you will need to apply by 31 March.

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) consultation
We want to hear residents’ views on our draft Equity, Diversity and Inclusion strategy. There’s still time to make your voice heard before the consultation closes on 3 March.
We really want to hear from people who are most affected by EDI issues: teenagers/young adults, older people, disabled people, LGBTQIA+ community, faith community, people who are pregnant or taking maternity/paternity leave, ethnic minority groups, care leavers and carers.
