Council services over festive period

There are no planned changes to rubbish or recycling collections over Christmas or the New Year.

Please make sure your bin is out for collection by 6am. Any extra recycling can be put out in an open bag or box as normal.

The Hub, our customer service centre, will be closed to visitors from Friday 24 December and reopens on Tuesday 4 January 2022.

The quickest, easiest and most convenient way to access council services is online. Our website and My Wyre Forest mobile app and web portal are all available 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Budgetconsultation

Your opinion matters

We want you to have your say on a range of budget proposals put forward by our Cabinet.

The Cabinet is looking to make the council a smaller organisation which focuses on protecting front-line services. This is to help close the funding gap, which is estimated to be £2.3 million by 2024-2025.

Please complete our online survey before midday on Thursday 9 December.

Don't be a tos53r

We have launched a campaign to crackdown on littering and remind residents about its impact on the environment.

The bold ‘Don’t be a tos53r’ campaign started in light of COP26 which highlighted everyone’s responsibility to look after the planet.

‘Don’t be a tos53r’ posters and banners, questioning why people are dropping their rubbish have been put up across the district in our parks, car parks and open spaces.

'Don't be a tos53r' roadshows took place across the district's three towns in November.

Speak out against domestic abuse

We once again supported this year's White Ribbon campaign.

International White Ribbon Day was on Thursday 25 November and this year their campaign was #AllMenCan.

It also opened up many conversations about men taking action and making a stand. This is what campaigners hope to encourage as we enter a new year.
