Covid is still here

The number of Coronavirus cases in the district is now at 484 per 100,000. The rate in the district is still high with the Worcestershire average at 475 and the England average at 436.

It’s important we keep doing our bit to stop the spread of the virus.

Remember to follow the basics of washing your hands with soap and water regularly, keeping your distance where possible and making sure rooms are well ventilated.

Have your say - Local Plan

Consultation is underway on the proposed main modifications to the Wyre Forest Local Plan (2016-2036).

The Wyre Forest Local Plan sets out a range of development proposals as well as planning policies, which will be used to assess applications and guide the location of future development in the district up to 2036.

The plan has been progressing through formal ‘examination’ by a Government appointed planning inspector, and this expected to be the final consultation.

Comments should be submitted using the form provided on the website and should relate only to the main modifications and not on other parts of the plan.  There is no need to repeat any previously submitted comments as these have already been passed to the inspector.

Find out more and how to comment.

The consultation closes on Friday 26 November at 12pm.
