Self-isolation guidance changes
In line with step 4 changes, on Monday 16 August the guidance on when you need to self-isolate changed. If you are fully vaccinated or under 18, you do not need to self-isolate following close contact with someone who has COVID-19. You still need to take a PCR test. If the test is positive, you will then need to self-isolate.

Vaccination begins for 16 and 17 year olds
16-17 year olds are now eligible for vaccination and several clinics are taking place across the County to encourage young people to take up the offer. The Artrix in Bromsgrove has been offering walk-in vaccinations for this age group.
Heart of Worcestershire College recently held a two-day walk-in clinic at their Worcester site where over 1,000 young people were vaccinated. Primary Care Networks are also contacting eligible young people.
More walk-in clinics are currently being planned, so please keep an eye on our social channels for more details.
A new search site to find your nearest walk-in coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination site is now available to use on the NHS website. Here’s the link: Search - Find a walk-in coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination site (www.nhs.uk)
