covid vaccine

Please take up your vaccine

When you are called for a vaccine, please take up the offer. Vaccines are safe and are one of the ways to keep ourselves, our loved ones and community safe.

Did you know one in three people with Covid-19 have no symptoms at all? That's why Public Health experts are recommending you take a rapid flow test twice a week. You can do this by visiting one of their test sites, through your employer or using a home testing kit.

Information about how to get a rapid flow test is available on the link below.

If you do have symptoms...

It is still important to recognise coronavirus symptoms such as a high temperature, a new, continuous cough, or a loss or change to sense of smell or taste.

If you have any of these symptoms you should get a standard PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test even if you feel well and your symptoms are mild.

If you have symptoms, you and everyone you live with must immediately self-isolate

Book your test by calling 119 or clicking on the link below.

Help if you need to self isolate

If you test positive for Coronavirus or have been identified as a contact by NHS Test and Trace, you must now self-isolate by law.

A new £500 lump sum self-isolation support payment is available to help people on low incomes who are unable to work from home if they are told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace and will lose income as a result.
