An early years and childcare setting have reported receiving a scam text message claiming to be from “Ofsted Support”. The message states that the setting’s "certificate of registration is temporarily suspended" and includes a shortened web link.

This message is a scam. Do not click the link.

Ofsted does not contact providers by text message about registration status, suspensions, or compliance issues. Genuine contact will always come through official Ofsted email addresses, letters, or identifiable phone numbers.
