Special Newsletter - Your Voice Matters - Upcoming Changes to Early Years Childcare Funding

Your Voice Matters - Upcoming Changes to Early Years Childcare Funding

Starting from April 2024, the existing childcare offer will be expanded in phases. Your views are vital and will help us gain a robust understanding of the challenges and opportunities that Early Years settings are facing in light of the childcare expansion.

This feedback will enable us to develop appropriate support for Early Years providers and identify ways forward that will best support families and settings. It will also help identify any areas where there may not be sufficient places and enable us to consider where new places might be needed.

There are two surveys available:

  • One for group based providers e.g. day nursery, pre-school, maintained nursery class/school, governor-led nursery, academy etc.
  • One for childminders, including childminders who are part of a childminder agency. Note: this is for all childminders, regardless of whether or not you currently offer Free Entitlement places.

Please complete the relevant survey to your provision via the YourVoice webpage. We appreciate your time and effort and thank you for your participation.

Completion of this survey is compulsory to support statutory duties around sufficiency planning. The survey closes at 11.55pm on Sunday 12 November.
