Temporary closure of Findon Valley Library for building work

Findon Valley library will be closed from Monday 31 October and re-open at 1.00pm on Monday 14 November. This is to allow the roof and a small section of windows to be replaced. Work will continue for a further two weeks during which the library will be open but there will be some noise disruption.

No items borrowed from Findon Valley library will be due back during the closure.

Library members can use any West Sussex Library and the next nearest branch is Durrington Library.

Our Knit & Natter group will resume on Wednesday 16 November and Baby Rhyme Time sessions will resume on Friday 18 November at 11.00am.

Whilst we are closed you can visit any West Sussex library to:

• Borrow, renew, reserve and return library items
• Access public computers for free using your library card and PIN
• Print, scan and photocopy documents
• Attend our regular activities for adults and families
• Work or study - all our libraries have free WiFi, study tables and power points to charge devices

From the comfort of your own home you can also:

• Manage your account via the Libraries App

• Read local and national newspapers and magazines from around the world for free via our PressReader app
• Ask our friendly Digital Support team for help with computers, Internet safety, smart devices and 1:1 sessions with our Digital Volunteers
• Stay connected with other library customers via Facebook and twitter
