Please note that, in consultation with the Chairman, the meeting of the Governance Committee due to be held at 2.15 pm on Monday, 28 February has been cancelled due to the proximately to the previous rearranged meeting which will be held on 7 February.

Update on motions submitted to Council
Motion on Adult Social Care Charges
Cllr John Milne proposed a motion on Adult Social Care Charges at the Council meeting on 22 October. The motion was referred for consideration by the Cabinet Member for Adults Services. Following a subsequent discussion with the Cabinet Member, Cllr Milne has accepted an offer to speak at a meeting of the Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee in January when the Committee will be considering the subject of the motion. Cllr Milne has therefore agreed to withdraw his motion. His seconder, Cllr James Walsh, and the Cabinet Member have both agreed to the withdrawal.
Motion on Male Violence
The response (PDF, 67KB) of the Cabinet Member for Community Safety, Fire and Rescue to the motion on Male Violence submitted by Cllr Kirsty Lord to the Council meeting on 22 October has been published.
