More and more West Sussex libraries are bringing back regular activities such as Knit and Natter, Board Games and Relax with Colouring, and we would love to see some new faces at these!
Not only that, we’re increasing the number of Baby Rhyme Times too, so please come along for a fun singalong with your little one.
Make sure to ask your local library for details of available sessions and how you need to book.

We have everything from author interviews and library staff recommendations, to full-length Baby Rhyme Time sessions.
If you like bookish video content, you’re invited to an evening with a national treasure! On Thursday 2 December, Damian Barr’s Literary Salon will be interviewing Miriam Margolyes and Mohsin Zaidi live from The London Library.
As a West Sussex library member, you can watch the discussion for free (normally £5) live on the night or as a recording after the event.

If you’re a keen family historian, you might have been waiting for news on the release of the 1921 Census.
We’ve heard from Findmypast that the new database will be available from 6 January 2022, initially on a pay-to-view basis only. Although this means it won’t be included in our library subscription straight away, free access for us is expected later in 2022.
Visit Findmypast for more information about the 1921 Census and associated pricing, and don’t forget you can access a wide range of their other databases for free at any West Sussex library.
