Local Offer Snapshot
Tigers Softball (Organised by Chichester Falcons)
This month’s service focuses on the Tigers Softball club organised by Chichester Falcons. I train with the Falcon’s with their adult softball team in my free time and was overjoyed to find that they also have a group of adults with moderate learning difficulties that forms their Tigers Group. At the end of August, I had the opportunity to help at one of the sessions and meet some of the players. There was a range of abilities, but it was clear to see that all those taking part enjoyed themselves including myself and the coaches!
The training is suited to the players needs with some adjustments to the balls, diamond size and the ability for individuals to take it at their own pace. Carers can also take part if they get the urge!
The outdoor softball season comes to a close this week but keep an eye open on the Chichester Falcons website to keep track of everything that goes on across there different softball groups or email to find out more about the Tigers Group: chichesterfalcons@gmail.com
