Views sought on future short-term care services in the Chichester and Bognor Regis area
People are invited to share their views on the future of short-term care services in the Chichester and Bognor Regis areas.
The County Council aims to support people to maintain their independence in their own home wherever possible and to ensure a range of quality care and support solutions are available across the county to meet the needs of residents of West Sussex.
We provide a range of services for people who require short-term residential care, particularly after they have been discharged from hospital. One of the places these services are provided is Marjorie Cobby House in Selsey which is owned and run by the County Council.
Running until 20 September, the consultation asks for views on the future of the services that are currently provided at Marjorie Cobby House which we would look to close in 2022, with a commitment to find alternative services for people who need short-term residential care and rehabilitation support.
More details about the consultation including how to take part is available on our website.
