Special broadcast: Consultation - Early Years Dedicated School Grant (DSG)

Further to the special broadcast of 22/12/20 the consultation about the Early Years Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) is now live.

A change to the pass-through rate was proposed to West Sussex County Council Cabinet in December 2020. We are now consulting on how to change the funding formula to ensure that early years providers have the funding to support all children to access high quality early years provision and to narrow the learning gap for the most vulnerable children.

This consultation intends to secure your views and opinions on the allocation of the DSG to early years providers. 

Please take this opportunity to have your say by completing this consultation. West Sussex County Council will use your responses to inform countywide decisions and set Free Entitlement policy in West Sussex.

Please read the briefing paper and consider your response before you start completing the survey. The deadline for completing the survey is 15 January 2021.
