Further to the Government announcement on Saturday about the new national restrictions, we are waiting to receive guidance on libraries from Central Government, including what services we will be able to offer from Thursday 5 November.

Big pile of books

The following libraries will be open from 10.30am – 4.30pm on Tuesday and Wednesday this week:

Bognor Regis
Burgess Hill
Chichester
Crawley
East Grinstead
Haywards Heath
Horsham
Lancing
Littlehampton
Shoreham
Storrington
Worthing

For all other West Sussex libraries, please check the opening hours on our website.

Remember - you can borrow up to 20 items on your library card and there are currently no fines on any items. If you would like to book a computer on one of these days, please contact the library directly.

Wearing a mask

Customers are still required to wear face coverings (unless exempt) and we will continue to ask all visitors to use hand sanitiser before entering the library. For more details, see our Customer Charter.

We expect to be busier than normal over the next couple of days - thank you for being patient if you are visiting us.

As soon as we have more information from Central Government and know what services we can offer from Thursday onwards, we will let you know with another library newsletter.

You will also find updates on our website, our Facebook page and on Twitter.
