Firstly, we would really like to express our thanks for all you are doing in supporting our children and key workers as we respond to the Covid-19 virus. We are aware that the situation is fast-changing and we are doing our very best to give you the most up to date information as we receive it from Government and will continue to do so.
The work you are doing to supporting those parents who are on the frontline of this crisis is very much appreciated and we thank you for this.
Without you we, as a county, simply could not respond to this crisis and keep people safe.

They include new guidance about implementing social distancing within an education environment.
We realise that many of you have questions relating to the Free Entitlement (FE), some of which are quite complex. We are working to produce a specific set of FAQs about FE which we hope to be able to release over the next few days.
We are also working on identifying settings who may be able to benefit from the Business Rates relief and will be providing the District and Borough councils with this tomorrow. This will be for the local District and Bough councils to administer so future queries should be directed to them. Contact details for your local council can be found here.
Lastly, to try and make sure we have all the latest information included in these broadcasts, we will move to sending them out in the morning, providing a summary of updates from the previous day. As such the next broadcast you'll receive from us is expected to be on Friday 27 March.
