Mainstream holiday clubs with SEN experience
Funtastic Kids have experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) at their holiday camps. Please read the guidance on their website, then email the office or call 07715643412 for advice prior to making a booking.
Animal Rangers offer holiday half and full day farm sessions for young people. Numbers are kept small so you experience the farm life and appreciate being outside and around farm animals. Summer Sessions have not yet been announced, so keep an eye on their website for updates.
Dinton Activity Centre Wild Days are running across the summer school holidays with sessions for 8 to 11, 11 to 14, and 13 to 16 years.
Please note this is not a SEN specific activity, however many of the instructors have experience working with children who are neurodivergent.
There is a student to instructor ratio of 10:1 with a 12:1 maximum.
Unfortunately, the activities are not available to wheelchair users and those with severe additional needs, or those needing higher staffing ratios.
If you would like to discuss whether you think ‘Wild Days’ would be suitable for your child, please email or call 0118 934 4424, choosing either option 3 for the activity team or option 1 for bookings help.

What is the CAN Network?
The CAN (Children with Additional Needs) Network provides an information and support service for families and carers of children and young people (aged up to 25) with additional needs and disabilities.
The CAN Network also maintains Wokingham Borough Council’s Children with Disabilities Register and CAN Card.
The Children with Disabilities Register is a voluntary, confidential list of information about children with diagnosed disabilities in Wokingham Borough.
The information shared with us is used anonymously to help plan and improve future services to meet the needs of local disabled children and young people.
Those eligible to join the Children with Disabilities Register can receive a free CAN card.
The CAN card is a photo ID card which can be used as proof of diagnosed disability. It's accepted by many local attractions as proof for concessions or free carer tickets.
Find out more about signing up to the register and receiving a CAN card here.
