 Plenty of Easter fun and activities
The Easter holidays are here and we have a line-up of fun activities for the whole family taking place at our parks and country parks.
Easter Fair
Hop along down to JL Events' Easter Fair at Cantley Park on Monday 6 April from 11am to 4pm.
It's free to attend and there's free parking available. Dogs on leads are welcome. Here is the line-up:

- Craft and gift stalls

Easter Egg Hunt
Join us for an exciting Easter Egg Hunt at Dinton Activity Centre as you search for eggs along a 2km trail. The eggs have been beautifully decorated by local schools, pre-schools and youth groups. Find all the clues and you will get a chocolate treat.
The hunt runs from 9am to 4pm, until 12 April.
A map costs £2.50 from the Dinton Activity Centre reception. You can book online or in-person at the reception. One booking equates to one map and one prize per person.
Children's Fun Fair
J&B Events are back with a thrilling Children's Fun Fair at Dinton Pastures Country Park. It takes place on the Events Field behind the café (Davis Street entrance).
It's free to attend but charges apply for rides. The Fun Fair runs from 11am to 7pm, until 12 April.
There's plenty of excitement including a runaway train, house of fun, hook a duck, toy ride, train ride, car ride, tea cup ride, helicopter ride, monster trucks, dodgems and mini bumper cars, a bouncy castle, bungee trampoline and a performance stage. Food and drink is available too.
Easter Wild Days Children's Clubs
If you are looking for activities for the children to do this half-term, we have limited spaces available for Easter Wild Days Children's Club at Dinton Activity Centre.
The club is ideal for children aged eight to 14 years old and you can enrol them into a half-day session for £27 or a full day for £54.
Wild Days sessions are packed full of adventure and excitement. Activities take place on land and water, set against the beautiful backdrop of Black Swan Lake.
They are a great way for your child to learn new skills and take on challenges, while making new friends.

 Make a glass sun catcher or tea light candle plate
Our glass workshop is back this month and you can create a colourful sun catcher or tea light candle plate.
The workshop takes place on Thursday 30 April from 7pm to 8.30pm at the Dinton Activity Centre.
This creative and relaxing evening will see you working with assorted shapes of glass, chunks and chips, using colours from the rainbow to create a masterpiece.
It is an ideal setting to work in groups of friends or make some new ones too.
No experience is necessary. Please note due to sharp edges, this workshop is only suitable for adults aged 18 years and over.
Tickets cost £35 per person. A selection of soft drinks will be provided. A reduced car parking ticket for £5 can be purchased on our booking webpage.
Your artwork will be taken away on the night to be fired in a kiln and will be back at Dinton usually within the week for collection.
 Experience the thrill at SEN-friendly climbing session
We're running a series of comfortably paced climbing sessions designed for people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at the Dinton Activity Centre.
This climbing session combines environmental exploration and has been designed for individuals with additional needs.
Experience the thrill of climbing up to seven meters high on our unique indoor wall.
Designed with vibrant, hand-painted murals which capture the beauty of the country park's lakes and woodlands, our wall offers a unique climbing adventure.
As you ascend, you'll encounter various scenes of Dinton's flora and fauna, from climbing the triffid emerging from the lake to greeting the owl perched at the top of a tree.
Each session costs £11 and they run on Thursdays from 2pm to 5pm on:

 Engaged couples are invited to our Wedding Fair
We're pleased to announce our Festival-inspired Wedding Fair is returning to Dinton Pastures on Sunday 17 May from 11am to 3pm.
Run in partnership with Berkshire Wedding Fairs, it is free to attend.
Come along and learn more about our wedding packages, see impressive wedding set-ups, talk to local suppliers who have experience working at festival themed events, and find out why Dinton could be the ideal venue for you.
 Connect with nature at Forest Bathing Walk
Come and join us on a Forest Bathing Walk and immerse yourself amongst beautiful woodland and learn a series of sensory exercises to calm your body and mind.
The walks take place at California Country Park in Finchampstead and consist of a two and a half hour gentle walk under the canopy of trees.
During the session, a Forest Bathing Institute guide will share some of the science that shows why spending time with trees is good for us, including research into the surprising secret benefits of breathing woodland air. Our main aim is to help you unwind.
Tickets cost £36 which includes three and a half hours of car parking. The next session take places on Sunday 19 April from 10.30am to 1pm.

 Serene sunset evenings await
Earlier this week, we entered British Summer Time (BST) hours, meaning the days will start to get longer as it will get darker later.
With warmer and sunny evenings on the horizon, this can only mean one thing - our Sundowner Evenings are returning next month (May).
Our Sundowner Evenings are the perfect way to unwind with boat hire, delicious food and drinks, live music or DJ sets from some of the best local talent.
Whether you're catching up with friends or relaxing with family, you can soak in the stunning views over Black Swan Lake as the sun sets.
The events are free and take place on Friday evenings starting from 29 May, from 5pm until sunset around 9pm. Make sure you add these dates your calendar:

- 7, 14, 21 and 28 August
- 4 and 11 September
