May Fayre brings family fun to town centre
Wokingham's annual May Fayre returns on Monday 4 May, promising a great family day out with activities running from 10am to 5pm.
The event, organised by Wokingham Lions Club, has been running since 1995 and features over 150 stalls from local businesses and charities, a children's funfair and train ride, a children's farm, and ferret racing.
Food vendors will be selling meals, snacks, ice cream and drinks throughout the day. There's a picnic area and events marquee in Elms Field where you can relax and enjoy the entertainment.
The main stage is in Market Place, with stalls extending down Denmark Street and through Erftstadt Court to Elms Field. The town centre will be closed to traffic for the day.
All funds raised go to local charities.
