
Help clean up your community this spring
The Annual Litter Pick is back on 21 and 22 March, with events taking place across the borough giving you the chance to get involved and help keep your local area tidy.
Equipment will be provided on a first come, first served basis, but please bring your own litter picker if you have one. Don't forget to wear gloves and sturdy footwear.

 Adventure activities return for Easter holidays
Wild Days Activity Club is back at Dinton Activity Centre this Easter, offering adventure activities for children and teens on land and water.
Sessions run daily from 30 March to 10 April, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), from 9.30am to 4.30pm. You can book full or half day sessions.
There are three age groups:
- Wild Days for 8-11 year olds
- Wild Days+ for 11-14 year olds
- Teen Adventures for 13-16 year olds
Activities include archery, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, climbing, bushcraft, team challenges and more. View the full activity programme on Dinton's website.
A full day costs £54 and a half day is £27. Book a whole week and save £20. Lunch options are available and childcare vouchers are accepted.
 Concert band returns to Wokingham Baptist Church
Bracknell & Wokingham Concert Band's Second Wind is performing at Wokingham Baptist Church on Sunday 22 March at 7pm.
The wind band of over 40 players will perform a variety of popular pieces including light classics, film and show tunes, and contemporary pop songs, with interval refreshments included in the ticket price.
Advance tickets are £13 for adults and children aged 16 and under go free. Tickets on the door cost £14, subject to availability.
There'll also be a raffle in aid of The Link Visiting Scheme, a local charity bringing friendship and fun to people across the borough through befriending and community projects.
 Showcase your talents at Twyford spring show
Twyford & Ruscombe Horticultural Association Spring Show takes place on Saturday 21 March at Loddon Hall in Twyford.
The show is open to the public from 2pm to 4pm, with categories open to exhibitors of all experience levels including floral arrangements, fruit and vegetables, arts and crafts, baking, photography and more.
If you're thinking of entering, categories include hyacinths, daffodils, rhubarb, marmalade, cakes, pickles and children's classes. There's also a People's Vote section for art, photography and handicrafts.

 Comedy night raises funds for Wokingham Lions
Wokingham Lions is hosting a comedy night at Wokingham Theatre on Thursday 10 April, with doors opening at 7pm for an 8.30pm start.
The evening features three comedy acts and an MC, with a bar available from 7pm. All profits will go to Wokingham Lions charity.
Tickets are available from Wokingham Theatre and the venue has parking on site. The event is for over 18s only.
There are two wheelchair spaces available - contact the theatre's box office to book these.
 Choral society performs German romantic classics
Wokingham Choral Society presents Sturm und Drang: German Romantic Myths & Legends at All Saints Church on Saturday 21 March at 7.30pm.
Performed in collaboration with Eastwood Chamber Orchestra and directed by George de Voil, the programme features works by Schumann, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Humperdinck and Beethoven.
Tickets are £20, with concessions at £5 for students and under 18s.
 Grab your dancing boots for charity barn dance
The Cowshed is hosting a family barn dance at Finchampstead Memorial Hall on Saturday 18 April from 7pm to 11pm.
Tickets are £28 per person and include a BBQ, with a bar available to buy drinks. Fancy dress is optional but encouraged, and there's free parking on site.
All proceeds will support The Cowshed's work helping people facing hardship across Berkshire.
Last year's event was a sell-out, so book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
