Walking in a festive wonderland with carnival return
The Wokingham Winter Carnival is making its return later this month, promising a fun and festive day out for the family.
The town will be transformed into a winter wonderland on Sunday 30 November, with more than 100 stalls, funfair rides, food and entertainment.
Organised by Wokingham Lions Club, the event runs from 10.30am to 5.30pm. The town centre is closed to traffic for the day so that children can join in the fun in a safe environment.
Don't forget to stop off at the fantastic grotto and meet Father Christmas, who will be giving out presents. Last year's event was unfortunately cancelled due to strong winds.
Glowing event to raise money for children's charity
Come and experience the magic at Dinton Pastures Country Park in Hurst as the Glow Walk returns on Saturday 22 November.
Hosted by First Days, a children's charity, the event runs from 5pm to 9pm and has been reimagined to bring the atmosphere closer, making every step sparkle and glow.
There will be a brand-new woodland shelter with live music and a woodland wonderland where you can meet singing fairies.
Watch flowing paddleboarders drift by under the stars, enjoy a barbecue and toast marshmallows by the lake.
