 Oktoberfest returns to Peach Place this weekend
Sit & Sip Wokingham is bringing back its popular Oktoberfest celebration in Peach Place this weekend.
The free event, running from 12 noon to midnight, with live music until 10pm, takes place on Saturday (27 September).
There will be a live Oompah band from 3pm to 6pm, with locals Bang Out of Order performing from 7.30pm to 10pm. Bar will close at midnight.
Food stalls from Grilko, Hamlet, Bombay Story and Knead will also run, which is all part of our Peach Place regeneration in the town centre. For more details, visit the Sit & Sip Wokingham website.

Get ready for Dinton Pastures' very first, spectacular Laser Light Show run in association with JL Events on Sunday 2 November at 7pm.
This memorable show also features a fire artist, children's rides, a barbecue by JL Butchers and a cash bar.

Children under two years old are free of charge.
 Step right up for Paulo's Circus
The mesmerising Paulo's Circus is returning to Dinton Pastures Country Park in Hurst for its second year. The circus runs from 24 September to 12 October.
The popular show features captivating performances of traditional acts blended with modern twists that promise to delight audiences of all ages.
Tickets start from £9 and are available to buy on the Paulo's website. Children under two years old are free.
 Thames Valley Police community engagement events
Residents across Wokingham Borough are invited to attend a series of community engagement events this autumn with Thames Valley Police.
Police teams are offering opportunities to share views, connect with neighbours, and speak directly with local officers. Events are running on:
- 27 September - a Have Your Say event at the Royal British Legion in Arborfield from 10am to 12 noon
- 1 October - a Have Your Say event at the Rainbow Community Centre in Winnersh from 11am to 1pm
- 5 October - a Have Your Say event during Messy Church Art and Craft Group takes place at the Salvation Army, Earley, from 4pm to 5.30pm
These events are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community ties and ensure residents’ voices are heard.
