 Share your views on new cycle route
If you live in the Woodley area, or travel frequently between Woodley and Reading, we want to hear about how you get around.
We're asking about people's travel habits before we start work on a new cycle link from Woodley town centre to Palmer Park, at the Reading borough boundary.
Let us know by 12midnight, Sunday 3 August for the chance to win one of five £20 vouchers. Note, you must be aged 16 or over.
The new link will run via Woodlands Avenue, Church Road, Palmerstone Road and Culver Lane, with work due to start later this year.
It's being funded by the Department for Transport and the money is 'ring fenced' for this project, meaning we aren't allowed to spend it on anything else.
 Health and wellbeing services – future funding
We might need help managing our lives as we get older. We might have a disability and need help with things every day. We might provide care for someone falling into one of these groups.
We’d like to hear from you as we plan for the future, and identify which local charity or community group services will receive funding from us from April 2027.
We’re interested in hearing from you about current services available in the borough to support the health and wellbeing of people over the age of 18. Which services are working well? Which could be improved? Are there gaps in services currently provided in the borough?

 Your pharmacy comments – 11 days left
It’s your last chance to help us pinpoint a potential lack of pharmacy services across the borough.
A draft report, what’s called a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment for Wokingham Borough, remains open for your comments until Sunday 27 July, in 11 days’ time.
If this impacts you, it’s important you share your views with us. The final assessment will be in force until 2028.
 You said, we did – youngsters' cheap bus travel
Earlier this year, we spoke to young people, who told us that bus travel can be too expensive, stopping them getting out and doing things.
So, we're funding a discount to let children and young people get around by bus more cheaply this summer.
Anyone aged five to 18 will be able to buy a £1 single or £2 return ticket at any stop in Wokingham Borough, regardless of journey length, on any date in August.
This applies to all local bus services provided by Reading Buses, Thames Valley Buses and Carousel Buses.
We're funding the discount as part of our Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), with the money coming from the Department for Transport.
Please note that young people won't be able to change buses using this offer, or buy discounted tickets from bus stops that aren't in the borough.
 You said, we did – safer road crossing
We've installed a new puffin crossing on Headley Road in Woodley, after residents shared concerns they had about safety.
It replaces an uncontrolled crossing with a narrow refuge area outside the Oakwood Centre, and the entrance to our pay and display car park.
We assess all road safety concerns using the same method and, in this instance, we decided there were strong reasons to act.
Things like how many people use the crossing, and how close it is to shops, the library and Beechwood Primary School influenced our decision.
We recognised that the existing crossing offered limited protection and was increasingly unsuitable for pedestrians with mobility needs, pushchairs, or children.
