Over 2,300 people have visited our online budget survey – but many of you haven’t finished it. If that’s you, please take a few more minutes to complete it.
This is the most important consultation we’ll run this year.
We’re facing serious financial pressures and may need to make savings of up to £33 million over the next three years. That means we can’t fund everything the way we used to and we’ll need to make some tough choices.
We need your help to understand what matters most to you. Where should we invest? Where could we do things differently? What should we protect?

We're calling for fairer funding for local councils and your support can help make that happen.
Wokingham Borough is one of the worst funded councils in the country. The government’s funding system focuses heavily on deprivation, but doesn’t properly account for the actual cost of providing services in areas like ours.
It also fails to reflect the high cost of supporting children with special educational needs and adults with disabilities – services that aren’t linked to deprivation, but are essential to our community.
