Returning favourite headlines Party in the Park
Party in the Park is making its eagerly-awaited return to Elms Field in Wokingham on Saturday 7 June, with free entry and amazing music acts.
Organised by Wokingham Town Council, more than 4,000 people attended last year's event and it promises to be even bigger this year.
Starting the party at 3pm will be Iris, a three-part country act, giving you an excuse to get up and dance while they cover hits, such as Dolly Parton's 9 to 5.
The festival also welcomes SuperSKAs, an authentic tribute to ska and two tone, plus The Magnets, dubbed the UK's premier acapella supergroup.
The headline act will be Fully Funktional, a returning favourite to Park in the Park, bringing party anthems and lots of energy.
In addition to the entertainment, there will be lots of street food vendors, but you are welcome to bring your own picnic.

Four routes to test your pedal power at bikeathon
The Wokingham Bikeathon is returning to Cantley Park on Sunday 22 June, allowing you to pedal on the best quiet lanes in Wokingham and the surrounding area.
There are four routes to enjoy on the day, ranging from 15 to 51 miles, depending on what you’re comfortable with. There will be drink stops and toilets on all the routes.
There are also refreshments, other activities and attractions on site at Cantley Park for the start and end of each route.
It’s been running for almost 20 years with thousands of riders taking part each time.
It’s now open to register for cyclists of all ages, with tickets £5 or free for children with a paying adult, and £20 for adults. This year's event is raising money for The Cowshed, a local charity that helps people in crisis.
If you feel unable to pay this cost for any reason, email the team for assistance. The organisers want to remove barriers to cycling, so while needing to cover costs, they don’t want that to stop anyone taking part.
Our My Journey Wokingham team will be there with their smoothie bike and stand for active travel advice and leaflets.
A look back at how horses shaped our future
Caroline Piller is coming to Lower Earley Library to give a talk about the history of Earley and the surrounding area.
The historian and author will be visiting us on Friday 30 May, with her talk starting at 10.30am.
Caroline wrote The Life and Times of Oliver Dixon: A Reading Horseman Remembered, which looks back at the importance of horse dealing prior to the Second World War.
You do not need to book for this event and drinks and biscuits will be available.
