 Overnight closures to allow resurfacing
We'll be closing the A329(M) overnight between Winnersh Triangle and Coppid Beech roundabout for the next few weeks to carry out resurfacing.
This started last night (Monday 12 May) and will take place each night until Friday 23 May. A diversion will be in place via the North Wokingham Distributor Road and A329 Reading Road.
The closures will take place from 7pm each day until 6am the following morning. Find out more on our interactive map.
These works are part of our annual maintenance programme to replace or improve roads and footways that are reaching the end of their useful life.
We invest millions in network improvements every year using a range of methods, depending on which is most suitable in each instance.

Foster carer stories show difference being made
Foster carers from Wokingham Borough have shared their stories as part of Foster Care Fortnight.
This year’s theme celebrates the power of relationships and the connections carers make with the young people they care for. We’re looking to add more local residents to our pool of foster carers.
The stories on our news site are shared from our fostering community, telling you what it is like to care for the young people of Wokingham borough and the relationships they have built in this important role.
