Get a-head in the race, but not in your beer
A brand-new running event is coming to Finchampstead — and you get a free beer when you cross the finish line.
The Siren Craft Brew 10km is being held on Sunday 9 March at 11am, with trophies up for grabs and live music.
The race will start and finish at the Siren Craft Brew Tap Yard, following a multi-terrain loop that takes in the nearby nature reserves.

Travelling around the world with Bartholomew
Come along for a fun, globetrotting Storytime with author Meredith Vigh. She will be joining us at Wokingham Library on Tuesday 25 February from 4pm to 4.30pm.
During the session, Meredith will read from her debut picture book It's a Big World, Bartholomew, which features Bartholomew Bear travelling around the world to share his wisdom.
Copies will not be sold on the day, but she is happy to sign any copies brought in. It is free to attend and no booking is required.

Helping you to detect rogue money lenders
An information event about illegal money lending is being held in Wokingham on Wednesday 12 March.

There will be an opportunity to meet with members of the Public Protection Partnership's Fraud and Scams team.
No booking is required and refreshments will be served from 6pm, with a presentation starting at around 6.30pm.
