Wokingham Borough Connect
Still time to build a borough where everyone belongs
We’ve had some really great feedback from people about how we can work together to make the borough a place where everyone is welcome, and communities are celebrated.
We want to give more people the opportunity to share their thoughts and are extending our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) engagement until Friday 31 January.
Why should you take part
We want to make sure the objectives and priorities we set are truly representative of our local community, so it's important we hear from as diverse a range of people as possible.
Your feedback will be shared with local organisations and community groups, like the Wokingham Equality Forum, to help identify the things which really matter to local people and come up with actions which can make things better for all.
Taking the survey
The survey is open until Friday 31 January. You can find out more and take the survey on our engagement website.

Royal Berkshire Fire Authority consultation
Royal Berkshire Fire Authority (RBFA) is consulting Berkshire residents and staff on council tax funding for the next financial year.
RBFA is committed to delivering value for money across the services provided to local residents. However, due to significant budgetary pressure, RBFA is proposing a £5 increase, based on a Band D precept, to £86.31 for 2025/2026, so they can maintain the current level of service.
Take part in the consultation by completing an online survey before 12noon on Friday 31 January.
