Wokingham Borough Connect
 Town centre strategy
We want to hear your views on how Twyford, Wokingham and Woodley town/village centres are being used, and how they perform as places to do business.
Why you should take part
Feedback from the survey will help shape the new town centre strategy, which will set a clear vision for our town and village centres, and guide how we will support them to grow and thrive.
Taking the survey
The survey and further information is available on our Engage Wokingham Borough page and closes 4 October. There are two versions, one for residents and the other for business owners.
 Economic development strategy
We are updating our Economic Development Strategy that sets out how we will keep improving the borough’s economic prosperity through to 2030, and want to hear your views on whether we are prioritising the right areas.
Why you should take part
Feedback from the survey will be considered before the draft strategy goes to our decision-making executive by the end of this year. Following this, we will develop a detailed action plan. The town centre strategy above will sit alongside the economic development strategy.
Taking the survey
The survey and further information is available on our Engage Wokingham Borough page and closes 8 October.
Wokingham Borough's Community Vision 2035 is going to the 19 September council meeting. The vision is a reflection of ideas and feedback from you.
In early 2023, we ran a series of workshops aimed at shaping a Community Vision for the future. Input from these workshops helped set our direction and approach. A number of partners formed a core steering group to support the creation of this Vision. Working together, we engaged with hundreds of residents and numerous community groups to gather feedback.
Fast forward 18 months, and here we are, ready to present a Vision that truly represents our collective aspirations. Thank you for your invaluable contributions.
Consultations that are not run by Wokingham Borough Council but may be of interest to residents.
