 What's coming up
Nine Mile Ride, to the west of the junction, will be open in both directions from today (19 July). You'll be able to drive across the crossroads from this stretch of Nine Mile Ride and join Finchampstead Road (northbound only).
Nine Mile Ride will be closed just past the junction of Avery Close and access will be available to Avery Close residents only using a dedicated access lane.
Access to the shopfront car park and Avery Corner car park will be open until 23 July from Finchampstead Road to drivers approaching from the south only. From 24 July, road access will remain as above, but the car parks will be closed.
These dates are slightly different from the ones we shared last week, due to us allowing the school access for maintenance works. Deliveries to affected businesses in this area will continue, and will be assisted by a traffic management team.
You can see full details of the traffic management that will be in place until mid August (subject to change) on our website.
 What's been happening
Work is progressing well and the team have nearly completed the pavement works between Avery Close to the crossroads.
Drainage works also continue, with the team reaching the entrance to Avery Corner car park and gully excavations taking place. Closing the car park on 24 July will allow the drainage connections and the new line to be completed.
