What's coming up
Drainage works will be taking place at the entrance to Avery Corner car park.
To allow us to carry out the drainage works along the centre of the road, the car park will close on 23 July. We have scheduled the closure after the start of the summer holidays as we continue to try to keep disruption to a minimum.

Changes to road access next week
From 19 July, Nine Mile Ride, to the west of the junction, will be open in both directions. You will be able to drive across the crossroads from this stretch of Nine Mile Ride and join Finchampstead Road (northbound only).
Nine Mile Ride will be closed just past the junction of Avery Close and access will be available to Avery Close residents only by way of a dedicated access lane.
Access into the shop frontage car park and Avery Corner Car park will be available until 22 July from Finchampstead Road to drivers approaching from the south only.
From 23 July, the road access will remain as per the changes above, but the closure of the shop frontage car park and Avery Corner car park will come into effect.
Deliveries will be catered for, and assisted by traffic management operatives serving the businesses affected within this area.
Maps showing the traffic management that will be in place from 19 to 22 July and 23 to mid August will be available our website next week.
 What's been happening
The team have been excavating on the footway on the other side of Nine Mile Ride, between Avery Close and the crossroads, to prepare for the new kerb stones that have been laid.
Our extensive drainage works continued along Finchampstead Road, between Avery Corner Car Park and the crossroads. Parking outside White Dental, Co-op and Jats Pharmacy has been suspended until further notice.
We ask that customers use Avery Corner Car Park when visiting these businesses.
