What's coming up
Drainage works are in full swing along Finchampstead Road between Avery Corner car park and the crossroads and will continue next week.
The team will also be installing new paving stones on both sides of Nine Mile Ride next week between Avery Close and the crossroads.
What's been happening
Drainage works have been completed on the section of Nine Mile Ride between Avery Close and the crossroads. New pipework has been installed and the team are now back filling along this stretch of road.
The existing pavements on both side of this section of Nine Mile Ride are also being dug up and kerb lines installed ready for the new paving stones next week.
Trial holes were also carried out in preparation for phase three drainage works further down the line.
Apply for a postal vote
The general election is taking place on Thursday 4 July with California Ratepayers Hall and Finchampstead Baptist Church (FBC) Centre being the main polling stations near the crossroads.
You can now apply for a postal vote online and the deadline is 5pm on Wednesday 19 June. To receive a paper application form, you can contact the electoral services team by email or call (0118) 974 6000. This form can be returned by email, or by post to our offices at Shute End in Wokingham.
Before you apply for a postal vote, you must first check you are registered to vote, with the deadline for this being 11.59pm on Tuesday 18 June.

Parking is still available at Avery Car Park via Jubilee Road and pedestrian access is available to all businesses at all times.
