 SGN works to start in Hurst
SGN will be starting works to upgrade the old metal gas pipes to plastic pipes in Hurst and Winnersh next week.
The works will start on 13 May for approximately nine weeks and will be carried out in three phases.
Rolling temporary traffic lights will be in place between Lines Road and Dinton Pastures.
There will be a road closure on Church Hill from 3 to 21 June. Access will be maintained wherever possible for residents and businesses during the closure. Please follow the signed diversion route.

 Reading Buses Open Day returns
Reading Buses Open Day will be returning for 2024!
This free event will take place on Sunday 30 June at their Great Knollys Street depot, offering a wide range of stalls, activities, food and behind-the-scenes tours on-site.
Games and attractions including:
- The Reading Buses rainbow line up
- Ride through the bus wash
- Get your name up in lights - your name on the front display of a bus
- Vintage buses
- Classic fete games such as coconut shy and hook-a-duck
Food and drink including:
- BBQ - featuring burgers, sausages and vegetarian options
- Curry plus samosas and onion bhajis
- Large selection of cakes
- Strawberries and cream
- Tea, coffee and soft drinks
- Candy floss
- Ice cream
The open day will be raising money for Royal Berks Charity, the Reading Buses Charity of the Year.
A free shuttle bus between Reading town centre and the depot will be available, with timetable and stops to be announced on their webpage nearer the time.
 Free shuttle bus for commuters to Bracknell
Thames Valley Buses have launched the trial of a new shuttle bus in Bracknell, connecting the railway station with the commercial and industrial areas to the west of the town.
The shuttle bus is funded by Bracknell BID and runs five journeys in the morning peak and five journeys in the afternoon peak on weekdays. Full timings and routes can be seen on the Thames Valley Buses website.
The service is free to use, and passengers must have a BID "I-Work" Loyalty card and show this to the driver as they board. The I-Work cards are free for anyone who works in the Bracknell BID area and offers discounts at a variety of shops and services offered by Bracknell based organisations.
 Love to Ride joins the challenge
Love to Ride Bike Month is back, and there is still time to sign up and be in with a chance of winning cash prizes of £50 to £2,000 as well as Proviz jackets and a charity prize for workplaces.
So far in this year's challenge, 36 workplaces and 254 riders in the borough have cycled 12,535 miles, saving 1,036lb of carbon emissions.

 Level crossing closure this weekend
Network Rail will be closing Wokingham Level Crossing from 11 to 12 May to install a traffic light.
More information, including diversion routes, can be found on one.network.
Replacement buses will also be in place for some services while works are carried out, with more information available on South West Trains website, or check your journey on the National Rail journey planner online.

Road Closure - A329M on from Winnersh Triangle
We will be closing the A329M from the junction with Warfedale Road to repair a cable fault from 15 to 17 May, from 8pm to 6am.

2-way lights - Robin Hood Lane
BT will be working between A329 Reading Road and Garth Close to access underground structure in safety from 13 to 14 May, from 9pm to 5am

Multi-way lights - Oxford Road
South East Water will be working near the junction with St Paul's Gate to replace red anti-skid surface from 14 to 15 May, from 10am to 2pm
