 Changes to parking access
We’ve now reached a point, within our phase one drainage works, where access to the car park outside Londis Red Oak Store and Bob's Fish and Chip Shop from Finchampstead Road can be reinstated.
We have ensured the car park remains accessible throughout the project. From tomorrow (16 April), access to the car park will be switched back to Finchampstead Road and will no longer be accessible from Nine Mile Ride as we begin to lay the new kerb line and footway paving on this approach to the crossroad. This is a day earlier than we communicated in our previous update on Friday.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout and signage in relation to this car park will be switched to accommodate the new access arrangements.
