New information boards at South Lake
Six new information boards have been installed at South Lake, Woodley to help visitors learn more about local wildlife in this green space on our doorstep.
The boards, covering South Lake, Highwood Local Nature Reserve and Bulmershe Pond, explain the various plant, reptile, insect and wildfowl species you can see in the area.
We'd like to thank Woodley and Earley Lions Club for funding part of the costs towards producing and installing the information boards, and the members of Highwood Management Conference group and Friends of Highwood for pulling them together with our countryside services team.
