Christmas crafting at Dinton Café
Would your children fancy making some decorations for the Christmas tree or to hang around the house?
From 16 to 22 December, for just £2.50, you can get a DIY pack for your young ones to create their own festive decorations at The Coffee Deck at Dinton Activity Centre.
Each DIY pack contains everything you'll need for making two Christmassy pieces - a Grinch and a tree or a Santa and a snowman. There will be staff on-site to guide you if you need it.
Before you go, book online for a 30-minute slot, so we can reserve a table at a café for you to do the crafting.
Christmas stocking filler ideas
Are you looking to buy something different for your friends and family this Christmas?
At Dinton Activity Centre, a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities are on offer during weekends and holidays. Why not consider booking an activity session for them as a gift?
The climbing wall in the activity centre is seven meters high and hand-painted with murals that capture the beautiful lake and woodland scenes from the Dinton Pastures Country Park. Equipped with 11 automatic belays, our fun holds and wildlife murals are a clip and go haven of adrenaline filled exploration.
The climbs are suitable for beginner to intermediate, and no previous experience is required.
Christmas Jumper Special Offer
From 25 November to 22 December, you can get 30 per cent off your next climb if you wear a Christmas jumper or outfit to our indoor climbing sessions.
You will be given the discount voucher on the day of your session, which can be used for booking your future session before the end of March 2024.
Anyone aged six or above can join to learn the basics of archery in a safe and relaxed environment. We will provide you with all the equipment and a full safety briefing will be given before you start.
Our annual Lake Access Pass is a perfect gift for those who have their own boat, including paddleboards, kayaks and dinghies. The pass gives unlimited launching for 12 months at Dinton Pastures.
We provide professional safety boat cover on weekends from April to October and school holidays during opening hours of the activity centre.

Celebrating National Tree Week
This year's National Tree Week falls on 25 November to 3 December.
It's the UK's largest annual tree celebration led by The Tree Council, marking the start of the tree planting season.
We formally adopted a Tree Strategy for the borough this June, which reflects residents' views and expert advice. As part of our climate emergency action plan, it helps us protect the local environment and wildlife as well as the health of everyone who lives, works or studies locally.
Over the coming years, we've set out to plant many more trees across the borough to increase the amount of carbon dioxide which they draw from the atmosphere. By the end of March 2024, more than 40,000 trees will have been planted on smaller-scale sites in the borough which are contributing towards this goal.
We also plan to plant trees on a larger scale at several locations, including a memorial woodland at Finchampstead to honour those who lost their lives during the coronavirus pandemic.
You can get involved as an individual. Check out the National Tree Week website for tips and guidance to grow, protect and take care of trees, or sign up for their free, online talks to learn more.
