Tap your way to an easy way to pay
Reading Buses are introducing 'tap on tap off' across their routes (apart from football services) from 1 November.
The service is easy to use and takes the pressure off of working out what ticket best suits your journey.
When you get on the bus, you'll need to tap your contactless bank card or mobile device on the reader - no need for a ticket. When you get off the bus, tap again using the same card or mobile device.
At the end of the day the system will automatically work out how many buses you have travelled on that day and charge you accordingly - always capping the price at the day ticket rate.
With the £2 single ticket rate available until 31 December and tap on tap off making it easier to pay, why not try taking the bus for your next journey?
